    Basic Life Support (BLS)
    In this classroom-based course, healthcare professionals learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

    This course is for both Initial and Renewals.

    The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

    Cards are emailed from AHA within 20 days of course completion.

    Students are required have a current provider (2020) manual with them at the time of the course. Jefferson employees may borrow a provider manual from the Scott Library 2nd floor Circulation Desk. If you would like to purchase a provider manual, you may do so below. Book sales are non-refundable.
